I told Chris at 6:00 on Friday evening that I would not be fishing the tournament. I had the stomach flu all week.
I felt like Sh$#.
You know it's bad, when you don't even want to go fishing.
Well I rolled out of bed on Saturday morning with one thing on my mind...Weigh in was at 1:00 and how fast could I get home and get in bed!
We got lucky with two good bites for 24lbs.
The next day went alot better...I was feeling a little better.
I have ablast every year at this Bob's Marine event.
Bill and his entire staff put on a great event. I look forward to seeing lot's of old friends that I haven't seen in awhile. I just wish I didn't feel like Cr#$ and I was able to mingle a little more.
I want to thank my buddy Chris for asking me to fish every year.
This is the third year now. The first year we placed 78th. Last year were first out of the money and this year we did a lot better.
I guess the old saying goes..."Never give up!"

Good job Sieg!

Over the top Buddy, over-coming adversity with both illness and a tough bite (for big fish that is).

Impressive with a 9# each day! Your the Man and Chris too.

Awesome Mr. Sieg! Wish I had got to visit with you more. I was wondering where you ran off to. Hope you feel better now. The win has to help :D . I have not fished there in 4 years. Next year I hope I can pre-fish some LOL Day one for the wife and I was just eliminating water LOL! She caught the only swimbait fish too :D 3 lbs. Oh the wife said that a trip would be cool but she wants to take a friend.....ME
Congrats again!
Yes, Thank you Bill, staff, Nor-Cal and everyone else who made it run smooth and lots of fun. Mike Reynolds did a great job also.
Even made a few new friends.
We will be there next year I am sure.

Don.
