Kyle and I fished the final ABA DVL event of the year on Sunday and finished 2nd with 20.39 lbs. Our bite was very selective as we only caught 9 fish all day, but they were good DVL quality 4 lbrs.
Better fish are in 20-30 ft, but the tourney was won by Kurt Hodges and George Fedor with 22.40 lbs and they caught their biggest fish shallow. Not much bait info from those guys as there are still some upcoming events they want to win!. Cant blame them, Kurt is catching some big fish. We caught our fish on the carolina rig, lizard on main lake points. Our counter tackle salesman, Will Rakowitz won the Anglers Choice event on Saturday with 18.85 lbs and caught his fish on spinnerbaits fished deep. Lots of options as usual at So Cal's best lake. Have fun. Rick G.

Congratulations to both Rick and Kyle. They are and always have been the "team to beat" at DV. If you think they are already tough to beat now, wait until Kyle graduates high school in about 2 weeks and will be living at the lake. He and his pops will be laying the smack down on all of us.
