My AAA Open victory!!!

Well it has ben a busy week since the Open so here is my short story.
Started off pre-fishing with Paul Leader on Friday & Sat. and had fish and a good time. (thanks Paul)
First day had Andy Jackson and had a few fish by mid-morning. Hit a flat with grass and bait, threw spiner-baits and traps.Got our limit with some good weight that ended up at a 9.80.
Second day paired up with Jim Wells from Idaho. Made a good run and stoped on a big rock slide. Had a couple in the livewell then at 7:30 I threw out a smoke-purple flake senko on a 4/0 weighted hook, let it sink, then picked it up and it was very heavy. It started to move and I set hard. The fish stayed down for a while then came up and shook her giant head (giant for Mead). We got her in the boat and jumped for joy. She ended up a 5.66. Finish out your limit on steep walls the rest of the day. Weighed in with a 10.21.
Wednesday I drew Clyde Evans we fished top-water and jerk-baits and squeezed out only 4 fish for a 5.99. We worked very hard for them.
I want to thank all three of my partners for I couldn't have done it with out them.

NOW SOMEBODY NEED A TRACTOR!!!!!!

Hey Andy hope your cold is better. On the last day with Clyde we fished another flat in a different area. It to had a lot of fish but inactive.
