I was wondering how they run. Bob has that 330v with a 86' 135hp Mariner in the classifieds. I was wondering how far the pack would leave me during balst off? And can this boat chase the tides? I think this motor shares the same size block as those 150, 175, 200. maybe i could tweak this motor?
Any info would help. Thanks in advance, saLTIE-

99% sure those 135 motors are the same 2.5L block used for the 150, 175, and 200hp motors. I will say I know guys who have ran those for years with no problems. Call Mike at Boatmasters in Dublin. Those guys will give you the best answer.
Don't be lame. It's just fishing; you are not the new mesiah you know! Check your attitude at the door Mr. Spinners on da boat trailer.

I am 100% certain it is the same block. This boat is my dad’s bass boat. My dad has Parkinson’s disease and can’t fish anymore. He was never a tournament fisherman so the boat has not been run hard and it has low hours
(not that I’m saying a tournament fisherman would run his boat hard
).
This little boat is faster than you might think, it will easily run into the high 50’s with the prop that’s on it.

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.
