Dang Justin! I just talked to you a couple days ago, and it seemed like you had the fish dialed in. Good job brother. Can't wait to get on the water at Christmas when I get home. Congratulations brother!

thanks everyone! the columbia is an awesome place with an incredible amount of support from the people in the tri cities area. definitely a great place to have a big tournament. i had a blast and was lucky enough to put all the fish that bit into the boat. i am looking forward to the final event on clear lake! thanks again!

Congratulations, Justin! You did an awesome job and made the right decision on technique to use. I relied too heavily on a dropshot rig, and although it produced the bites I needed, I lost too many good fish when they came unbuttoned. My dropshot fish weren't taking the bait inside their mouths, but instead were just nipping it and holding it with their tooth patches. Tough to penetrate that bone with 6lb test and #4 hooks. I would have been smarter to fish C-Rigs and/or tubes.
