Thanks Ed

Post by jiggy »

I have been a reader for a long time but felt this needed to be posted. I fished the WON TOC recently and heard about a team of ours breaking down on the road. I truck came by and offered to help. After trying to find someone to tow them he ran one of the guys to the sign up so he wouldn't miss the sign in, then went back to get their boat in the water. It was the owner of Tackle It, Thanks Ed you don't know me but if you read this we appreciate how you will do anything for us. Sorry if my spelling sucks first timer.

Jiggy,

This doesn't surprise me one bit. Ed is a very stand up kind of guy and always a pleasure to do business with when he is at the shop. The fact that he is also a good human being that is willing to help others in this manner just confirms what most think when they meet him.

Hey Jiggy

I have to jump in here and agree with the other post. Ed defines the term class act. I was up from down south for a tournament this spring and during my pre fish some jerk broke into my truck and boat and took my rods. I went into his store and was about to drop a few grand when he said hold on, before you spend your money lets get you back in the game. He asked me what I needed then gave me a bunch of his gear to use, guys got great gear by the way. Told me to use it and after the tournament lets see what happens. Any other store would of taken my money and said thank you very much and sent me on my way. Alot of us out of town guys know that when we are at Clear Lake if something happens we know who to go to and he will help no questions no expectations.

I was in his store today when the Triton big boys were in there. Ed was falling all over himself trying to be as accomodating as he could. He offered them any kind of help he could. Great Guy.

What comes around goes around and I hope you get you good deeds back in triplicate Ed.
