America's Vanity Cup comes back to Clearlake in March 2008

Post by AnglersPress »

It’s back for 2008!

America’s Vanity Cup, the richest event in team bass fishing, is coming back for another go at the number #1 rated bass lake in the country – Clearlake, giving some lucky team a chance to earn big cash, and perhaps break the all-time two-day record of 74.20 pounds set by the team of Mark Crutcher and Greg McCosker in last year’s early March event.

That’s right… this year’s event will again be held in early March (March 1-2, at Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa), and this time will not conflict with any of the major events produced by FLW or B.A.S.S, giving anyone that ever wanted to fish in a fun, BIG money event, an opportunity to do so with a partner of their choice.

A big all-you-can eat dinner, raffle, entertainment and much more is being planned to make the 2008 event even better than last year’s, so make sure you mark your calendars so you too can be part of this great event which for 2008 will be televised.

More information regarding payback, prizes, entry fees etc., will be posted very soon on the Angler’s Press and America’s Vanity Cup website….so get those big swimbaits, and ripbaits ready… and stay tuned!

I think they will have no problem drawing boats. For one it is a excellent time of the year for any lake much less Clear Lake. I will be there for sure.

Dont hold your breath Phil, Maybe if Korny or better yet Gene from the hook takes over as tourney director. Then I would fish it.

My Dear friend,

Bob,

I know you know...but when are you going to do something about it.

While your flying all over the country...you need to read this book.

"Excuse Me...Your Life is Waiting."
By...Lynn Grabhorn

It helped me out at a point in my life.

Just ordered it on Amazon.

and as always, your council doesn't fall on deaf ears and is very much appreciated my friend.

My hope is the Zanex I take to get me through those long, last minute flights in the center seat do not cloud the message!

Thanks Dude - see you on the water (shortly I hope! - and No, that's not me following you with binoculars!)

You know I can still net with the best of them Baby!

Good stuff Sunday Dude - calm, cool, and collected with that crankbait.

I'm now the guy who fishes with Doug Mcka, versus the other way around!
