Buy some big hammer swimbaits just match the size and color and you are good to go.

A tail from a mission fish or basstrix works well also.

I have also heard reports that the Huddleston Shad tail works really well on it also.

There are two toothpick like pins holding the tail in. Push those out and put the new tail in place... push the pins back in through the new tail and you are in business!

The nails are called Brads and you can get them at any local hardware store.

Oakie Joe, im on the AC Pro Staff and although all the suggestions that were made on this post will work you may want to order the replacement tails directly from AC Minnow. At 4.99 a pak for 5 you cant beat it. They come in all the colors of all baits currently in production and will fit alot better then the other replacemt tails mentioned. Untill the release of the replacement tails on the AC site i had been using the fish trap tails after the striper or bass would tear them up. But since the replacements are available now, i would suggest using them. Oh by the way, AC is running a 2 for 1 promo. Basically, all orders over $100 will be doubled with your product order..Stay tuned for some new baits to be released this year with rattles and for the delta rats like myself, a signature series bait for the delta. Here is the link to the site where you can order the replacement tails and check out the forums section for news about the promo. The site will be revamped in 2008 with Pro Staff bios and new products, news and much more so stay tuned.

Good luck!
