Bass Boat Alarm System

Post by Bassgod »

I got one installed at Classic Sounds in El Cajon. It cost me a little over 400 bucks and I had them install 5 switches to cover all of my most valuable storage areas. It has a dual stage shock sensor that can be set sensitive enough that if you barely touch the hull of my boat it activates with a pretty loud siren.
My neighbors all know that if they hear it, call the cops, then call me. I am tired of stressing out over thieves, twice now the same truck has been at my house trying to get my boat, or my stuff.

I have also installed a motion detecting security light in the area I park my boat, and reinforced the tongue of my trailer with a second locking mechanism.

I know my rig is not totally safe from maggots, but it makes me rest allot better now.

PM me if you want more info.

Hey Bassgod, I heard you were having some issues with those A-holes..... I have a couple people watching my boat, their names are SMITH & WESSON.. That's one nice thing about living out in Alpine.

I have a two year old pitbull who doesnt really like it when people look over the fence. This coupled with the shotgun, coupled with all the open land and back sloughs in the delta I would love to havesomeone visit my house to test ride a boat.

In all seriousness you can install either a fack or real Camera that points out to the street and have a sign that says smile you are being recorded. Even a fake camera pointing at the crooks may be intimidating enough to deter them from stopping.

If the sign says it is a fake camera, you are right - the scum probably won't get it. However, if the sign says it is a fack camera, then they'll know to stay away!
