Archery Shop for the Beginner
I have decided to take up archery/ Bow Hunting. I live in the Fairfield/Travis AFB area and work down in Mare Island. Where is my closest shop to get started? I need a place that can fit a bow to me. I need a shop to point me in the right direction for not a ton of money. Any help would be great!

Jerry's Archery on Freemont st. in Stockton is one of the best all around in the bay/sac area IMO. 209-941-4870.
There is another one down south in the bay area that is really good as well- Steve is really top notch. http://www.pacificaarchery.com/
Then there is The Bow Rack in San Pablo -- But they seemed a tad screwey in their pricing to me.

How tall are you? I was thinking of selling my complete set-up the other day to put towards more fishing gear -- I have a 32" draw length so my bow is not for most people.
You are going to have a BLAST in Archery !! Also here is the list of come local clubs/ranges. The summer evening weekday 3-D Shoots and BBQ's at Briones are alot of fun - as well as the weekend tourneys of alot of clubs.
Diablo Bowman has their Winter Hunt comming up this January. ~~> http://www.diablobowmen.org/winhunt.htm

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.
