Bounce a T-rigged senko with a 1/8th oz bullet weight around on points at Pedro and I guarantee you smallies will be boated.JIGS TACKLE wrote:Well there ya go Dan.
I have tried Senko's many times, sold 100's of them, and have yet to catch fish on Senko's.
Maybe one time and was just luck.
So all types of baits take some tallent or experience. I don't believe there is a chuck and wind bait, a no brainer.

DADDY !!!

Lets go ocean fishing with them....... I got a BIG supply of those fresh water useless bastages. !!

We can limit out on the Yellow Canaries no problem !!

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Ummm...lings and cabezon don't have a swim bladder.... you can bring them up from any depth and it won't harm them in the least... the other rockfish, you can vent them through their skin on the side... if you puncture the swim bladder coming out of their mouth you have just ruptured their swim bladder and killed them. you have to release the gases built up inside the body cavity. no different than venting a LMB... you can also use a variety of devices to send the fish back down to depth and release them there. but whatever you do, don't puncture the swim bladder sticking out of their mouth.

Re: Will Swim Baits Be The Demise Of Skilled Bass Fishermen?
Here is my answer to the question. There will be no demise to the skilled bassfisherman. Swimbaits are here to stay my friends and realistically if you dont get the big bite in the tournaments you wont win any more. My advise, you better learn how to use them because fishermen have adapted to new techniques over the ages for sure. Remember when the drop shot came about? Wasnt that long ago. Same thing with the swimbait. Do we have a dropshot rig in our boat? YOU BET. Why? Cause it works. Do I have a swimbait rod in my boat? You bet Why? Cause you aint going to win unless you have a big bite. You all know the truth so its time to put the swimbait with the normal gear because they are here to stay and are only going to get better. The days of winning with just the jigs are all but over here on the west coast maybe not back east but slowly but surly guys back in AL and Tenn are catching on. I have a friend that lives on Wheeler in Alabama and I sent him a 7 inch slammer for his birthday and he stuck a 7 lb large mouth during one of his tournaments and when he showed it at the weigh in the guys went nuts. They never knew that they could target those fish. My point is Swimbaits are here to stay so learn how to use them or dish out your money to the guys who do
never give up, be possitive and patient, and you will be rewarded
