Where's the striper bite on the delta now?

Taking my dad out this weekend for some striper fishing on the delta. If anyone can point me to where the bite is happening I would appreciate it. I've not been fishing for stripers yet this year!

We have been out Monday and today past nightfall ... Purdy slow in the West to Middle delta both times for us.

I have nothing to show for it 'cept two broken rods..... (no joke

) Been tossing the White Osprey and the Floating Cracker.

The Boy's and I are gona launch out of Orwood tommorow around 1400 and try in Disco till 2000-2100 ........ Wife/Teacher providing the boys finish school in time and in good mannor.

Bruiser and I ran into the Coochster tonight doing his "Hamma Thang" again like the Solid Money he preaches ~!!

Wish that bait could be found here locally !!

Dan you need to use OLD faithfuls after dark Woodchopper, Pencil popper,and Spook!!!!!! during day light hours swim bait that can go at least 8' to 15' deep. OPPs almost forgot Bleeding Rattle Trap OOOOOYYYAAAAAA!!!!! 1/2oz & 3/4oz. I shouldn't be giving you my secrets since you are probably going to be fishing against me next Friday. Stripers have hit and miss for me and my friends for the last several weeks. We have a favorite slough in the northeastern part of the delta. Three weeks ago, on one trip, we caught 9 keeper size stripers in about 90 minutes. In the last 2 weeks, we made 5 separate trips into the same slough -- on 2 of the trips, we caught a total of 3 keeper size stripers -- the other 3 trips were no striper bites.

We were cranking our favorite striper lures, 1/2 oz or 3/4 oz Rat L Traps, in shad or chrome w/blue back.

And that Big white swimbait bite continues! After having been in Mexico all week, I got out fer about an hour and a half this morning and plugged 6 fish to 8 pounds on the Big Hammers around the back side of Sandmound near Emerald Resort. They are scattered everywhere now. Ya can either keep moving till ya find em, or git in one of their travel paths and wait for each school to pass ya by!
