True Bass this weekend

Post by jwolff »

I'm sorry to let everyone know that the episode with Chad Martin on Berryessa will not air tomorrow as planned. On the Pope Creek bridge there is some vulgar graffiti that I missed when editing. I'll clean that up and the show should air next weekend. Instead it will be Bernie Gaunt on Clear Lake this weekend.

I've done several episodes of Angler West TV with "average" anglers--on Shasta even, but True Bass is a little different format. Please contact Jim Carius at Galaxie Marine (530-889-8001) with suggestions for True Bass.

We have charter cable in Dixon and don't get the show. Is there anywhere on-line that you can watch these shows. Are they archived and be viewed later, sure would like to see these shows.

Dude ... that is DAMNED funny right there! Damned funny ... I don't care who ya are!

Chad is absolutely, bar none, one of the best fisherman I've ever been on a boat with. There is no doubt about it.

But he is also one of the funnest Arky's to razz!

Justin,

True Bass is the best show on the West Coast imo.
What can we look forward to for the upcoming season?

Harder than you figured getting that graffiti off the concrete?

I got some cleanser and good old fashioned elbow grease if you need help  .

Was that show this morning last year? The water was to high to be last month.

Good luck and your show is a great hit with me.
I had to come back...I know...

To everyone expecting to see Chad Martin on Berryessa this morning, let me tell you that I was just as surprised as you to not see it air. I sent in the new dub minus the graffiti, and I haven't heard from Comcast the reason for why it did not air. I think most people don't really realize how many technical steps are involved in the entire process so it's very possible that something happened that's beyond anyone's control. Comcast is great to work with and I'm sure we can figure out the problem.

I apologize to everyone who was disappointed in not seeing the Berryessa episode.

Someone asked about the future. My basis plan is to produce shows on Western lakes with fishermen that viewers can relate to and learn from. I have plans for many lakes including the delta but a couple things I'm working on in the relatively near future include some very informative big bait stuff that I've already shot on Don Pedro with Bill Siemental and Vince Hurtado and also, there's a good chance of a show on the Delta with Dee Thomas before too long.

If anyone has suggestions for an episode please email me at my regular address (jwolff@anglerwest.com)

Thanks for all of the kind comments and merry Christmas to everyone.

Howdy folks,

Thanks again for all the great feedback about True Bass!

We are going to be rolling out some changes in the coming months, but unfortunately that means that we will be in re-runs for the next 3 weeks. The next new True Bass is scheduled to air Saturday, February 2nd.

I think you'll all appreciate the changes that we are making - but wait. there's more!

We have always wanted the True Bass program to be driven by the viewers. We want to show what you ant to see! We are asking for direct input into the show. You can subscribe to the True Bass mailing list at http://lists.topica.com/lists/truebass Your input will be incorporated in future True Bass programs as we move forward.

Thank you for watching!
