I'm just uploading the pictures and a web album up to the site - should be there in minutes.

http://pics.tunaman.org/pics/R7SlideShow/R7SlideShow/ - sorry for the duplicate directory names - these are NOT a typo!!

There are thumbnail images, screen-sized photos (800x600/400x600) and full-sized images suitable for printing enlargements... click on each image to get to the next size.

Enjoy!

Rae El - I'll call you in a few to make sure you know about them and be sure you know how to save (from the looks of recent posts, it appears you have that figured out pretty well now! ).

There were 17 with more than 1 fish, 13 with one fish, and 38 (31-68 ) had zero. 51 total with one fish or less.

Ray,
You and the CBF put on a great tournament. Thank you! I was one of many who skunked, but I will never forget my first tournament in a non team format. My draw for the day( thanks to your daughter), Jerry Ballesteros, Placed second and had a pretty good day. He also went out of his way to give me some tips that helped me learn some things. Thanks Jerry .
I also had the chance to pre fish with Tom Lee. Our pre fish was tough and my being on the phone for work for half of it certainly didn't help but Tom was very helpful as well. Thank you gentlemen, I look forward to seeing both of you again.
There were others I met and a few I knew from the BAT and J&T Night Series and they were all great...thank you all, I had a great time and I will be at Casitas ready to rock.

For anyone who was trying to access the last several enlargements, but got the page not found error instead, it appears that my upload bombed out before it finished. I've now got the rest uploaded, so it should be good to go. Let me know if there are any other issues?

Thanks!

Yeah, that won't happen again but it was the only way I could go...was to reachable by phone in case there was a foul up at work and of course Murphy is always hanging around. Next time the phone stays off.

John that was my first prefish (ever) and day tourney at Castaic. Don't sweat it. The prefish paid off and the fish we found were still there for 10 mins  Hey I broke even and then some and got to fish against alot of great anglers which i respect very much.
Ron C's roll call response was worth the price of admission alone :)

I look forward to seeing you guys at Topstick at Castaic January

I guess winning is the only inCentive. That was my weak attempt at saying I will make the top 5 at somepoint during the season. I'm gonna come up with a ChampioN boat gang sign so watch out for it.

I am not sure if the Cal. Federation is on the champion diamond program anumore.
I am not even sure if Champion has a program.
Rick would be the one to answer that question.
I will do some looking around and see what programs each boat company has for the Cal Federation.
I will get that info and post it on this thread. I will also announce at the next tournament if any boat companies have the Fed. on the list.
Rick does have the Anglers Marine winners circle for Ranger boat owners who bought a Ranger from him.
Jerry B. just missed by 1 spot winning that.
If my tournaments have more than 50 guys in an event than Guys who have bought a Ranger from Rick and win the event qualify for an extra $500.00.
Like I said I will look around at the other boat companies and see what is out there for contingency money.
Oh 1 other thing Ranger cup money is only in play at the State championship. Make sure you are in Ranger owners and also Ranger cup.
You must fill out for both. 1 does not cover the other. So if you are in Ranger owners you may not be in Ranger Cup. Please check for yourselves.

Contingency awards

Post by Brian D. »

Here is the current program from Anglers Marine. Although the program states 2005, I'm pretty sure the terms still apply.

Winners Circle: No angler minimum (current year /qualified boat model)

Champion has a brand new program for 2008 that is only just a little less than the Ranger Cup program and is as good if not better than ANY OTHER BASS BOAT MFG. I will post all the details tomorrow in a separate topic. The 'Anglers Marine Winners Circle ' promo is a Ranger/Anglers Marine/Mercury contingency that is different and in addition to any Ranger Cup promo. Also Look on Jan 2nd for the big announcement of the new FLW/Mercury/Ranger Cup promo. Thats right boys and girls FLW and Mercury. Rick G.

Man that would certainly shake up the world of bass fishing.

The number one selling bass boat (Ranger) with the number one selling bass engine (Mercury).
