I use the quantum Cabo and love it. It is a great reel for the price and holds plenty of line for throwing the Hudds.... If you are throwing the smaller baits you can use your regular reels with no problem.....

Shimano Cardiff 300's or 400's. $89-$109. Have both of them and like them a lot. Cast real good and simple to operate once you adjust brakes. I use the 400 for larger swim baits and the 300 for smaller ones. Good luck!

Jigs.....affordable?? LOL....everything now costs a C note!! Some people will spend more on a swim bait than the reel they are throwing it with. :D

Cardiff, or a Cardiff, If you don't like that I would say a Cardiff LOL!! I can only speak for the 400's They are great!! They are low in cost But get it done. I still use them. My first two cardiffs have out lasted my two Callcutta's

Best of luck!

Don.

CARDIFF 300 or CURADO 300...can't beat them. I haven't tried a abu garcia 5500 or 6500 but imagine they'd work to.

The Cardiff is good, as well as the cardiff. I've also heard good things about the cardiff. And as far as affordable goes.... you guessed it, the cardiff.
