yeah that place is pretty cool....and cal poly is sick! it was my second choice and is a lot of fun. My best advice is to make sure you park somewhere early and walk around the town. Otherwise its tough getting around

Very nice hotel Brian. ask for the jungle room. Its the best one they have. Highly recommended. If its not available go with number two and take the love palace. Its kinda red though!

There is not much crime here in SLO, so any place is safe. Although some hotels are better then others. I would stay at the Sands hotel, it is just down the street a few blocks from the Apple Farm. The Apple farm is nice, but slightly pricey. I would stay at the Sands and eat at the Apple Farm. Both places are close to Poly.

Embassy Suites is nice, not to expensive. They have a great free Breakfast. I have to agree with the Apple Farm, it is the "womans Bass Pro Shops" ........If you make it up on a Thursday be sure to go down town to the Big Farmers Market, some very good Bar-B-Q there.

Just about any of the Hotels at the Top of Monterey Street are good too. That is where Apple Farm is located.

I have to second the Apple Farm. My wife loves it there so much that we got married there.
