Sounds like the bite is very good for the time of year it is.

Our entry is in the mail. See ya next Saturday. I hope we have a large turn out. As mentioned, the bite has been pretty good so maybe we will see some numbers. But with the sounds of 30 lb bags being caught, we have our work cut out. Sure hope the ones we are catching eat a ton of trout this week and then our fish will grow.

Rain in the forecast next weekend. Water level is primo. Could be some large bags. Grovers will be locked and loaded for 2008. See you there. Rick G.

Will the real Iron Man please stand up

Post by one fish wonder »

With the weather that is forecasted for tomorrow, we might have part 2 of the Iron Man on our hands. Should be interesting but at least the bite should be good. See you brave men in the morning!

True! tomorrow is the true "Ironman" competition (at least in So. Cal). Guys around the country fish in way worse conditions.

It is only rain, but it is going to be so strong and hard just like Brian. I hope that my partner will hold me close if it hails.

Todd, you are screwed. If you were in Matt's old Champion, you would be safe and dry. The rod lockers in that boat were larger than my first apartment. You could easily climb into the rod locker and hide if you wanted to. In the Ranger, you won't fit. Matt has been known to fit a midget or two in his lockers though.
