A couple of things to report:

The deadline for Pro entries has been extended to January, 8. Please contact us if you want a spot in the Tour as we still have Pro spots open.

The February 16 tournament at San Vicente has been moved to February 9 at Lake Pyramid. Get your good cold-weather gear for that one.

Partner pairings for Lake Castaic January 19 event will take place Monday January 14 and be announced at that time.

The Tour schedule looked a little too easy, so we needed to throw a bump in the road for you guys. Adam, do you think we'd make it that easy to repeat as AOY?

Seriously though, permit problems with SD and other logistical problems brought about the switch. On the bright side, it looks like Lopez will have plenty of water for when we visit in May, so this will be the only venue change of the season.

"On the bright side, it looks like Lopez will have plenty of water for when we visit in May,"

Isn't that the truth...started out light today, but it has been pouring.....Also, Santa Margarita should be perfectly full for your TOC

Is there any way to get in as a non-boater for just the Lopez event? I really wanted to do the TOP STICK this year but it just didn't work out....

CJ did his best to showcase SoCal lakes

Post by Brian D. »

top to bottom, but like he said.. things didnt work out. Any TD out there will tell you that it is hard to switch dates & lakes. Although I'm a big fan of the SD lakes. They're small, but have some really good fishin. Got jigs? hehe

The 'Wood almost made the cut as the replacement lake. It's still on my mind for an early in the year event in the future.

Pyramid has the most red tape to get through as far as permits go, but since they haven't been having regular tournaments there, they are eager to accomodate us.

I hate changing these up more than anybody, but it is better than just cancelling an event. Last year at Pyramid was a full-limits event, small bass but eager to bite and it still pays the same.

A couple of good things:

1. No Lake Lice

2. The bite is good in Feb.

3. I get a chance to redeem myself from sucking there last year

I know it's been said before but I'll just go on record that I don't like the idea of Pyramid being a replacement for San V. I for one will have to AGAIN drive about 6 hours (to and from the lake) to fish this one. El Cap has become a awsome fishery in the last 3 years. Silverwood would have been cool too, it's been improving in the last 3 years. I like the fishing that Pyramid has to offer but I'm just not diggin' the drive. Well, I guess I'll just have to take the 10 min drive to DVL when it comes around. See ya all at Castaic.

No my washer blew a line at the pump so all the water in the tub poured out and went from my laundry room into a small hall and out into my family room and a small closet. I now have to rip it all out and then paint some valted ceilings and then install new flooring. I am just so happy. With work so slow(actually non excistent) it is not a fun time for me.

We are in the same kind of thing but yours is because of a strike.
Mine is because of the mortgage industry. I am part of that trickle down effect.
