They have an ad for them in the new cabelas catalog and they are on the website. They look great and are sure to catch some big fish.

They look like a fantastic bait! They've got a great profile, the colors look good and all the other stuff that you can discern from a website seems cool.

My feeling is that you can get a good feel for the quality and get a general idea of the action if you can hold the bait in your hands. Obviously, your not going to know its exact action or castability and stuff like that, but even myself, as a novice swimbaiter, cna usually get a good handle on a given bait.

I also like getting my hands on a swimbait prior to buying. I held the tru tungsten bluegill, and although I do not throw bluegill swimbaits, I really did like this one. Not sure how the variable sink rate system will work (you add or remove balls to adjust sink rate), but I like the concept. This is a bait that I will be buying.

I've been looking for these for some time now. I actually held the trout bait when Ish first had it and I promise you its amazing. I'll definetly be getting one of these this weekend at the ISE show or through Cabela's.

If Newman helped build it, it's going to be a great bait. He wouldn't put his name behind a piece of crap.
