Hi guys, I am new to this forum and wanted to say hi to all of you. I have a lot of questions to ask and I hope I don't annoy you with them. I am new to bass fishing and have been doing it for a year now. I usually fish at Castaic Lake and have only caught one bass in my life. On the first hookset I got addicted. I am 13 and very interested in knowing how I can get more tight lines.

If I get a chance to come up your way we will go out on my boat, but I live down here in San Diego so that makes it tough. John Barron might be of some help, he has a heart and lives up in your area. I don't know any of the other regulars. Keep trying and ask the folks at the lake too, most will help out a youngster, that's how I learned when I was your age.

He means folks will make fun of your question instead of helping just to get a laugh. They don't have much of a life and that is what they do between fishing, make fun of people. That is why you don't take it personal, it is not against you personally, just life itself.

Hey Addicted2Fishin, you didn't start anything. You know how little kids think that they are better at some XBOX game than their buddy is, and they tell each other they suck. That is how it is here, just giving their fishing buddy a hard time.

I am new to Cali and have posted a few times and got some really good info. Check here every day and look at the NorthWest board as well. Read everything. Check out swimbaitnation.com and any other forum that has fishing info and you will learn alot.

Good job there Kevin and Lowell way to hijack the thread of a newb 13 year old who is passionate about the sport. I guess I expected more from you Kevin, knowing that you started off at a young age.

Anway, addicted to fishing WELCOME to westernbass.com what area of Socal do you live in? Ther is some great bank fishing that is kept on the DL around some private houses throughout orange county. Shoot me a PM.
