I have just faced the most difficult situation in my life. The lose of a child, no matter what age, has to be one of the worst things that any parent would have to go through. I know that down the line I will be able to dwell on the good times that my son and I had together during his life and there where many of those. I can also be thankful that he did not have to endure a great deal of pain in his journey. Rick passed away at home with me by his side and I am thankful for that too.

What I am especially thankful for is the overwhelming support that you all, as my "bass fishing family", have shown my family and I during this trying time. It truly is helping us through it. Bless you all, you're the best!

Gary , I know that words can't express what you must be going through, I too have lost someone close to me " Mom Rest Peace" It does'nt ever get any easer, just a little more bearable with each passing day. Just know that he is in a better place and one day you will be togetter again with you son in heaven . I'm so sorry to hear of your loss , My prayers go out to you and your family. God Bless

My wife and I went thru this...it's already been seven years. I never thought I'd get thru it. There's not much you want to hear, there's not much anyone can say that will make you feel better.

For me, I chose to use every ounce of muscle, courage, determination and faith to get thru it. I learned I had to stop asking "why" and trust that there was a reason my pea-sized human brain just couldn't understand.

I'll pray for you and your family, I certainly understand what you folks are going thru. Stay strong and keep your heart on Him, you WILL make it.
