I would have to pick a jig, no doubt. A brown berserk jig, hands down. That would go for the lakes also.

Sounds like a great tournament idea to me... You can have as many rods as you want but you only get 1 bait and as many colors of that bait.

HMMM that would make for some realy fast boats without all that gear slowing them down.

I like the idea of a one bait tournament. If I could use one bait, but rig it several different ways, my bait would be a Senko.

A 5 in 1 worm, I only have one pack left from the early 90's...Amazing worm, only caught 3 pounders and up back then...I would hate to see this worm in a 12 inch model...Maybe I'll contact Bass Pro on this one...Anyone know Johnny?...

And THAT is how the very first Nutcase Classic got started!

By the way, my choice would be a jig

If I was told I could only fish one bait at the Delta, or anywhere for that matter, I'd go bowling.

But if I was already on the water, fishing a tournament, and lost everything but one bag of baits, I'd hope that bag was full of 7" Junebug Senkos.

Just me,
James

Wow - This shows how little I know about the Delta. For one bait I would choose the Sweetbeaver. Mmmmm beaver

I know its not the best tourney rig but like BDBR I'd go with the wake Jr. or baby wake with a Barely legal vixen on the pole right behind me.
