I went and got a shellcracker a Shimano Carbomax spinning rod and a Daiwa Exceler 2500 reel to match what did you guys get?

After some very intense negotiations my friend and each came out of the deal with a shirt. I don't wear black cause its really hot around here so we took the regular white shirts instead of having the black "Don't Fish Chicken" shirts sent to us.

I placed my order with Advanced Taxidermy to do the mount on my 15.48lb Lake Oroville Record Largemouth

I never imagined having a fish done when I looked at their display last year, and then I have to go and catch that big girl

I went down Thursday hoping they would have their booth again. I know they aren't cheap, but how often do you get a largemouth over 15lbs? Anyways, did any of you guys check out their work?

Dtacker... If you saw the Table top mounted Peacock Bass that was on the right side of the display, mine will be mounted similar to that, except it's going to be almost 4" longer

The peacock was 25" and my largemouth was 28 3/8". They are also going to do a little more to the base in the way of structure. You can be sure I'll be putting pics up when it's done. Jim told me it should be less than 6 months turn around
