Prayers needed

Post by Homer »

Your prayers and good thoughts are needed to help a fellow fisherman Brendon Widick to have a speedy recovery. He suffered a stroke this morning while at work. Brendon’s father is also in the hospital in critical condition after having suffered a stroke a month ago.

Geez, that's awful.
Brendon is so young.
I hope he's strong enough to make a full recovery.
I was just talking to him Sunday.
That's a shame. I know he was really hit hard by his Dad's stroke, but I never dreamed he would have one.
Please pass my good wishes to his family. They must be devastated.

I was only able to talk to him once while he was trying to help me out of trolling motor trouble.
I felt he was a real nice guy and been meaning to thank him again when I get to meet him again.

I hope all his good deeds go back to him and get well fast so I can thank him in person at Castaic.

Also all my best to the rest of the family as well.

Brendon and his father are in my prayers. May God see to their timely healing, and to the end of their family's worries.

Brendon is one of the coolest and most humble guys I have come across in the area. He has always been friendly and when I first started fishing tournaments he was one of the only guys who didnt treat me like an outsider. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

:( Whoa! I fished with Brendon at the WON Shasta Pro/Am. That day was spent with a truly great angler and person.

Prayers sent for Brendon and the father for their quick recovery.

I just got off the phone with Brendon and he wanted to pass along his appreciation for all of your prayers and well wishes not only for him but for his father. He is feeling a lot better and is very anxious to get back on the water with all of his friends. His spirits are high.

The staff at Kaiser are running tests to find out why this happened so Brendon is thinking that he should be out of the hospital by this weekend.

Brendon said that he would welcome some phone calls and asked me to pass on the phone number (323) 783-6076 and the address for Kaiser Sunset Hospital is 4867 Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90027. He is in room 345, bed A. He should be out of the hospital on Sunday or Monday.

Prayers are powerful and Brendon definately has been blessed (well actually we all have been blessed to have Brendon part of our lives and able to call him friend.)

I just talked to Brendon...

Post by TEAMDEADMONEY »

And all I can say is WOW...He got extremely lucky.. He is feeling alot better and as Lynne said he will probably be out of the hospital maybe this weekend. Im sure they are still doing tests to figure out what caused the clot. At this point they dont know. He lost all feeling and movement on his entire left side but he said that it has ALL come back ....THANK GOD!!!! DUDE GOT LUCKY...again thank god.

Prayers are still needed for his pops because he isnt doin too well. So keep his dad in your prayers guys. And dont hesitate to give Brendon a call....a show of support goes along way at times like this.

Thanks everyone..
