I made it home Safe and Sound...

Post by BassTraveler »

from the Conroy Oakley Pro/Teen.
For the second time in two years...I drew a stick for a teenager.
Last year it was Stacy and this year Brianna.
While I caught fish, Brianna (Three Time State Casting Kids Champion) went on to catch bigger fish than me.
I can just see Conroy rolling around up there in Heaven with laughter.

Congrats to Cooch, Gator, stony and everyone else who made a bunch of kids get and stay hooked on fishing.

I'm going to bed...I'm plum wore out...Har!

on my way yesterday morning @ 2:45 going through Merced, I ran over something on the Highway. I guess it flipped up under the "Big Greene Dawg" and severed a coolant line that runs to the rearend. Hit so hard it actually knocked the mirror from its frame on the passenger side then came out and scrapped the rear fender. Needless to say, I was up a stream without a vehicle. I really hated to miss the event as it would have been 7 straight that I have attended. Hope everyone had a great time and there's always next year.
