Yes I do understand this is a joke, but should we, meaning those that have alot to lose, be kidding around in a public forum on this issue? All it takes is one board member on a water agency to see a post like this, bring it to a meeting, and use it to show how trivial bass fisherman are when it comes to stopping the spread and keeping our fisheries open which could undermine alot of hard work that so many are doing to keep us on the water.

They may not look at the other posts. People like to use information for how it will support their cause not in it's entire context, or how it was meant to be, but how it is perceived!

One more thing. Clearly the steps from the board regarding lake casitas and some no cal lakes has not been looked at in it's full context. So why should we assume they will take the time to look at the other posts? I realize it was a joke, and actually pretty funny, but for some of us there is alot at risk. As an example, I cant go to Havasu, then prefish the delta before the off limits, or even worse, have to wait 28 days to launch on any body of water in california. One lake has taken that approach, others could and probably will follow those extreme steps. Do I think it is an uneducated decision, yes, but you might feel the same as I do if you had put up the deposits, had sponsors expecting you to fish and could not. I appreciate what Scott Sweet, Ron C, John Barron and countless others are doing to protect our ability to fish tournaments or just fish period. I am sorry that I dont find this a joking matter.
