Don't know if it will get there, but it will be interesting to see if Folsom will get to 400 ft. in elevation by before the powers that be leave for the weekend on Friday, February 22. No decision by that time and not at 400 ft. and Folsom will probably stay at 5 MPH.
Over the next few weeks we all need to call the state parks office (Gold Fields District) and give'em hell about lifting the 5 MPH.
Good luck Roger, I hope to be out there on the 24th fishing your deal.

A little bird told me that its going to be 5mph all year. They are going to keep it low because of the work on the Dam.

How could I forget, I couldn't stick a fish to save my life that day, as I remember you did all the heavy lifting.
Yeah, I am around and starting to get back into the swing of things.

Scott, Good to see you on WB. Hope you get out to the ABA's.
I keep hearing that they are not going to let Folsom come up. And that the 5mph will NOT be lifted. Are you hearing anything different? I hope what I'm hearing isnt true. I guess we shall see.

Several years ago I had a question regarding lake level control at Folsom and contacted the "powers that be". Simply put, I was told in no uncertain terms: Folsom Dam was built for flood control and we were lucky we could "recreate" on it. All I'm saying is they will manage the lake level to suit their needs (be it Dam construction or whatever). I wouldn't count on too much in the near future though it will be interesting.
