Relax... Hillary is unelectable. We will have a Republican in the W. House again.

What good does having a REP in the white house gotton us?

Looks like the lesser of two evils as far as I can see. Both sides are owned and opperated by big business.

Both the Dem and Rep are all bought by the highest bidder.

That's why I go fishing is to get away from both sides.

Im with Ricky on this. If anyone thinks the Republicans will look out for us and pertect this country, your mistaken. Looks like to me that the Republicans are selling this country down the tubes

NAFTA was initially pursued by corporate interest in the United States and Canada supportive of free trade, led by Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, U.S. President George H. W. Bush, and the Mexican President Carlos Salinas de Gortari. The three countries signed NAFTA in December 1992, subject to ratification by the legislatures of the three countries. There was considerable opposition in all three countries. In the United States, NAFTA was able to secure passage after Bill Clinton made its passage a major legislative priority in 1993. Since the agreement had been signed by Bush under his fast-track prerogative, Clinton did not alter the original agreement, but complemented it with the aforementioned NAAEC and NAALC. After intense political debate and the negotiation of these side agreements, the U.S. House passed NAFTA on November 17, 1993, by 234-200 vote (132 Republicans and 102 Democrats voting in favor; 156 Democrats, 43 Republicans, and 1 independent against),[7] and the U.S. Senate passed it on the last day of its 1993 session, Saturday, November 20, 1993, by 61-38 vote (34 Republicans and 27 Democrats voting in favor; 28 Democrats and 10 Republicans against, with 1 Democrat opponent not voting).[8]

I thought I remembered Bill Clinton on TV after signing the trade agreement with China for his buddy Sam Walton and he was saying that this would open up the Chinese market and create jobs for Americans. Seems that since the Chinese supply over 60% of all our manufactured goods that we can thank Bill for selling millions of manufacturing jobs. Both parties are guilty and it is all part of globalization. Problem is if we are ever in a real war again we can't even manufacture our own dog food.

NAFTA is older that Clinton. Its beed my assumption that they (U.S., Canada and Mexico) want to merge and be one in order to compete with Europe. I'll tell you one thing its really starting to get hard to tell where Mexico and US borders are

You are correct about NAFTA but I said China which is not North America and Clinton was the guy who opened that can of worms up and exported just about every factory in the US to the 25 cent an hour labor market. At least in Mexico we are competing against 5 to 7 dollars a day. I am sure we can all compete with that one. I own a manufacturing business and was very close to WalMart in my previuos life. I watched them become a big share of my manufacturers business then threaten to discontinue them if they did not open a factory in China. Rubbermaid refused and went bankrupt when WM disco'd their line. Anyone who believes it is good for the US to compete in a global economy without lowering the standard of living of our middle class is not logical. How can we compete with 25 to 50 cents an hour and a communist government. Insanity.
