Sorry for you. I know that feeling. Better than humans in many ways and tough when they go. Hang in there.

I feel your pain brother.

It is hard when you best friend moves on. All you can do is remember the good times.

I fell your pain. I had a awesome field trail dog. The best Pheasant dog there was. I sure do miss him.

Sorry to hear. The bond between a man and a good dog is as strong as they come. I've got a tear in my eye just hearing your loss and seeing your pal's picture as I know when my lab goes, I'll be a mess.

My full condolences.

I know exactly what your going through...its horrible. I had to put down my black lab about a month ago. I had him since i was 12 and he went on many fishing trips. I havent even considered getting another dog yet. Its a hard thing to deal with, im sorry to hear it.

My condolences. I know how you feel. I have a little female yellow lab who fishes with me regularly. I dread the day when she will move on.

My dog I had as a kid died this past summer. He was 16 and a golden retriever, the weirdest part about it was I couldnt remember not having him as our dog.

It sucks plain and simple, I'm sorry man.

I feel for you. I know my time is coming. I have a Border Collie that is 15 years old now.

She loves me and I love her. She is getting around slower now. She can't hear too good and sleeps alot. I have taken her for morning walks all her life. I still do, but not far anymore. I dread the day she will go. My brother says to me "you don't kiss your dog do you?" And I say "Every single day".

I had a Brittany Spaniel that lived to be just over 18 years old. She was my best friend, fishing partner, hunting partner, running partner, from the time I was 5 until I was 23. The hardest thing I ever had to do was watch my parents take her from my arms when it was time to take her to the vet to be put down! One day we will meet again.

truly am sorry for you. I've lost 2 Labs so far, a Male Yellow and a Female Chocolate.....who had a litter of 13 and I kept the best boy Chocolate in the batch! I always say...."I'm not looking forward to the day". It's very hard and pretty much the only thing I cry about. But with the great life you give them along with the most loyal love in return, I will always have a dog.....or two! He's playin as he was once a young man!

Sorry about your loss. I have a chocolate lab, and I know I will be a big cry baby when he goes. He goes everywhere with me. One time I was flying back to michigan and I put him in the dog hotel, and when he looked at me through the glass boy did I start to cry. Sorry about the loss.
