Has anyone tried to get their alumuinum bass boat inspected at Casitas?
I am going to Casitas this weekend to camp and fish and I understand what I am up against, I will be doing a complete cleaning Boat, trailer, motorhome. When the ranger feels the hull looking for a "sandpaper" type surface, aluminum aint like fiberglass. My aluminum boat has a few nicks and scratches and below deck where batteries are and fuel tank will never be perfectly clean but it will be dry. Do you think it will be harder to pass because my boat is older?
I have a positive attitude and I'm gonna make an honest effort to be clean and dry....
Are there any pics of the bumper srtickers "Clean & Dry"?
I have some graphics equipment (sign shop) and would like to make some. Maybe someone could post a link or email/pm me with that info. Thanks

Aluminum bass boat Inspection
If Bass Fishing was a drug . . . . . I would need rehab.
I have a
JPG image of the C&D decal on my home PC. Will send it to you later today. Scott S. has a digital copy as well.

Re: Aluminum bass boat Inspection
I took my 10 yr old Ranger alum in on Sat, Feb 10. Had loose tag ends and hard boil egg shells in the boat, stains, etc. My live wells are plugged for extra storage. No problem getting in. Everything was very dry though, I hadn't been out in a while. Gate guy and gal were pleasant and courteous.
