Hipster,
You have to throw them where you would never want to put a Black Dog, or R2Sea. Throw them where you would normally drop a Senko (don't forget, Swimming Senko's still work too). The more you find places to throw the soft swimmers, the more you will. And the more fish you'll catch. I still throw the hard baits, and the Bottom Walker?; don't get me started.

Good luck,
James

I am curious how you guys are rigging the 6.5? I bought some to use with the Falcon 6/0 weighted hook but when rigged Texas style, the bait is so thick, the hook doesn't want to come through and the bait rolls over way too easy. I was thinking about a bigger hook like the one that comes with the Missionfish swimbait and use a clamp on style hook weight.

Any thoughts?

Gene,

How's it going brother? I saw some of them Money Minnows at the Lake Martinez last week, those are really cool.

Are guys up there swim-shotting these kind of baits?

Swim-shotting? Does that mean what I think it means?

That would be an interesting Bubba Shot technique to DS rig a 6" Hud or osprey on a baitcaster.
