I have mostly powell rods and really like them. I want a rod for jigs and smaller swin baits. What do you guys recommend?
Thanks,

I have the 805, I prefer the 8' rod for true flippin and the 5 power is the way to go! It actuallly pitches pretty well too, lots of power and well balanced.

Since you said jigs and smaller swimbaits, I would say the 765. This rod handles throwing the smaller swimbaits better than the 805 does. I also use the 765 for jigs, but I have an 805 that I will also use for heaver jigs or punching jigs. Both are great rods but I think that the 765 is a better combination rod for jigs/small SBs.

I use the 805 and I really like it. I wish they made an 806.
