If you don't want to find that bump, after you leave the ramp heading out, I would cheat a little left of center and have the motor trimmed up. It's about a 100yds off the ramp.

They forgot the buoy this year!
Don't know where you aLL are going out of, and didn't want to see any of the Delta folks damage their boats.
Have fun out there, had to work for them today.

I guess I should have read this BEFORE I went out today
When we came back at the end of the day, I watched two wake board boats hit it also. They need to get that thing marked.

I guess I should have read this BEFORE I went out todayI was wondering why Scott Shambre was waiving his arms at me franticly from his boat as I was motoring away from the Ramp. Then I found out the hard way. Just put a scratch on the keel, the motor never hit but still

Maybe someone out to mark it.

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

I went out today and we almost hit it too...but thanks to Tremont's post, we were on the look-out. Damn thing is only about 8" under the water.
Be careful out there.

Re: Bump at the Granite Bay Ramp
Sorry you had find out the hard way Brian. I can't believe that thing ain't marked. They put us through months of a speed restriction and then this crap! They must of run out of buoys
As much as I hate when the wake board boats disturb my peacefulness while fishing, they have a right to be there, and I don't enjoy seeing them destroy their boats either.
Mark sounds like you and Greg had a nice day, and I'm glad to make a post like this. This is a great site, thanks to Tony for putting up with all the bull, so some useful info filters through every now and then
