I just read the entire thread and some of the gentleman on this board and their arrogance rubs me the wrong way.

Another point that was somewhat obscured it seems, is that we at times rehash the same subjects.

For both these reasons I felt as if I should write something. There are many people that would like to participate here and on the water, but don't because some of the BS that goes on. I could of thrown that out there, but was pressed for time.

The first statement about bravery I hope needs explanation. I've used the term Rambo many times on the board referring to those that have such bravery. The last statement about the "pro" on TV was just a little dry Tremont attempt at humor.

Thanks for reading :? !

Please know it's just my 2 cents for anyone that cares.
I had to come back...I know...

As a non-boater paying half the boating costs for the whole day is ridiculus to me.Does that mean you will share 1/3 of your winnings with me when youy cash a check? And I have never been asked to pay that much.Granted this is only my 3rd pro-am and a total of 9 partners so maybe that is not enough experince yet.Usally I am asked for $20.00-30.00 and have not been asked for more. And there ar times I have payed more because I wanted to.And more than 1/2 the time the pro has not wanted any money though it was offered.Lets rememger that most of these tournaments are about the Pro's and not the Co's.Yes you pay the higher entry fee's but you are also fishing for awhole lot of money.Like it or not you need the am's in you boat so you can fish these tournaments.
No offence meant to anyone.Gb...Jim

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

I went fishing at the delta the other day with a guy to remain nameless...bassinholic. The first part of the day we asked each other the "Jim Conlow Sr." question, but we changed the circumstances a lil bit each time and it made fishing with 191 pro boats bearable.

I want to take up a tally/vote of how many people want to change Jim Conlow Sr's Avatar. I'm tired of looking at that mug
