NFR - Today is my 25-Year Wedding anniversary!

Here is a little ditty that I put together for my wonderful wife and partner, Cheryl as we celebrate our 25th anniversary today:

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Today is one of the truly amazing milestones that in this day and age very few people ever get to see.

We have made it through twenty five years of happiness and joy, sorrows and losses, and yet we remained committed to each other and in love through it all.

I love you and respect who you are and what you have done not only in your life, but for what you have driven me to do with my life. I couldn't be more blessed than I am right now to be a part of this amazing moment in both our lives. You have given me two wonderful boys who we hopefully will get to witness this great moment in their lives as well!

Twenty-five years ago, with shaky legs and heart in hand, I offered up the future of my life;
I gave a ring and asked you to be my cherished wife.

Together, we are greater than we each could be apart.
And so Cheryl, once more with joy I offer you my heart.

I admire you for your beauty, I respect you for your intelligence, I adore you for your virtues,
and I love you because I just can't help it.

I hope all of our married brethren out there have the same luck and joy I have had for so many years!

Ken. I know the benefits that a long successful marriage can bring. My wife Cindy and I celebrated 26 years in December. Seems like just yesterday that we met.

Y'know last week I was telling a co-worker I wasn't sure what to do for my wife for our 25th anniversary. He asked me "what did you do for your tenth?"

I told him I took her to Hawaii.

He suggested that for our 25th, maybe I should bring her back!!! HA-HA!!!



Seriously I would like to thank everyone for your kind sentiments! I really appreciate all of your messages and replies. Cheryl read them too and she wanted to pass on her gratitude as well. For those that have surpassed the 25 year mark, my hat is off to you! For those that are still on their way to that mark I wish you the best - it is a worthy goal!

Dan, thanks for the sentiments from your wonderful family as well! Y'know, maybe I should have told Jason to have you tow us in after all - then at least you might not have blown your motor too. But then you wouldn't have had an excuse to go buy that 'Toon you are putting around in now!!!
