You did take the pics AND posted one of them here. How do we veiw the rest of the pics? I understand you arent the director but you obviously are one of his staff and help him by posting on the forum..Sounds like your department to me... Some people would just like to see the pics thats all...and you were the guy taking them. So I thought Id ask...

Robert, you should know better than to post on behalf of Bill. Anyone info associated with him gets flamed on this site.

We should start calling it the Gas Can Region instead of the I.E.

i wouldnt consider a guy asking a simple question about some pics as being "flamed". Too many little girls on this site trying to start conflicts any way they can. People need thicker skin, I think some of the people on this site should be fishing with a skirt on.

I'm talking about ALL the info associated with Bill, not this one in particular. Said director has historically been slow to get results up, and Robert set himself up for this by posting the results to begin with. Maybe he should have said "eventually" instead of "soon."

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go try on a different dress...the one I am wearing is getting too much attention.

PS. I wasn't attacking Pete if that is what you are concerned about. Pete's a big boy and rarely lets anything sneak by if he feels he is being unjustly singled out....

Pete,
I posted what Bill told me to post. If he wants them all posted I'll do it. Like I said, talk to Bill Ponting. His call. He's the director. My guess is that he/they may want to save some stuff for the WON Publication.

Bill does a great job. Some of us are just a little busier than others and don't have all of the free time to do everything right. Come to one of my events and you'll see that there are a million things I can improve on.

Anyways, I can understand ripping on a director if he is crappy, but Bill runs a great tournament. Anyone who thinks otherwise is more than welcome to try running my 100% BASS region and see how much they enjoy listening to unappreciative bass fishermen. Then again, the core guys who support 100% are all studs and I'm lucky that I don't have to deal with morons.

Just my opinions boys.

One other note, I fished Bill's region for 3 years and NEVER had a reason to infer he was less than professional. My comment was directed at the forum as whole. Bill always caught flack on this site, no matter what he did. That was the underlying subject of my post...I should have been more clear in my first post and this discussion would not have progressed to where it is now...

People are too sensitive on here. Doesnt matter who the TD is.. the issues Bill had to deal with at the beginning of the season were not easy situations. Any TD would be getting fired on.. you can let it roll off or you can let it get to you. You are always going to have people b*tching.. the only way i foresee there being no complaints would be if Leeann Tweeden was the TD

Did I miss something????

Post by TEAMDEADMONEY »

I just asked if Robert knew when the results would be posted and where we can veiw the pictures....THATS IT! Did I say something wrong??? Dont think I did. :? :? Who is bashing Bill??? I'll ask again... Did I miss something here??
Since Robert posted the top 10 results and one pic AND BECAUSE HE WAS THE GUY TAKING THE PICS, I asked him.
Not quite sure where "Bashing Bill came in to it???
Robert...I asked you a simple question and for some reason you got your panties in a wad. Some of us would like to see the pictures and the results so I asked two simple questions ....whats wrong with that???
Whats your problem Robert?
Barry, (the guy who got the big fish of the tournament) would like to see the pics, as would me and some other guys.
DL why do you think I was bashing Bill?

First off, why does'nt Bill just not come on here and talk about his trail like the other directors? You think Ron C. or JB or above all Jason from ABA have not heard crapola on this forum and have run and hid. No, they want to promote their circuits. Bill should do the same IMHO. His #'s are down at DVl and maybe he needs to be on here givin some home cookin. No momma jokes or payback bs. Just straight WON Bass promotion. Rick G.

And after further review .. the call on the field will stand

Post by Schneider Fishing »

Pete,
I do not have a problem here. Seems like you just don't like my answer to your questions.
Like I said before. Not my department. I am not in charge of getting things posted on WON Bass nor with deciding which pictures get posted nor published. Again, try asking Bill Ponting.
So here's the longer version of the answer to the question.
My job for Bill is to take the pictures and write an article for each event. I have been given instructions by Bill not to post the articles nor the pictures on Western Bass (I kind of fudged on this one a little when WON hadn't printed the articles prior to the next tournament. I figured by then it wouldn't matter and I might as well try to promote the upcoming event a little).
While I may have taken the pictures I am not in total control. I took the pictures on behalf of Bill Ponting and WON Bass. The picture I posted I did so because that's the one Bill told me to post.
I'm walking a fine line here trying to keep those anglers whose pictures I took happy, keeping Bill Ponting happy, and keeping the publishers of WON Bass happy (WON might not want to have a picture they publish in their paper on the Western Bass Website before it shows up in WON).

Yes Pete, you asked me if I new when the results would be up and about viewing the pics and I answered that it wasn't my department. Ask Bill. Sorry you didn't like my answer. That you didn't seem to like the answer doesn't change the answer. Then you explained why you thought that since I was on his staff that I should either know the answer or have a different answer. Sorry, once again, same answer. Talk to Bill.

Hopefully this longer version of how it's not really my call about posting the results on WON Bass nor about what pictures get posted nor for that matter which articles get printed in WON will explain things to your satisfaction.

And again, if you're not happy with this answer........ call Bill and talk to him yourself about it.

Holy Cow.

Drama, not just on TNT.

And as long as you guys are reading this carp >--)))>

No where did I say or infer you were bashing Bill. I clearly stated any info related to Bill gets flamed. In case no one remembers, the last time he posted on this site was when he was getting attacked about his supposed carnival options. The momma jokes were part of the entertainment too... He had had enough and decided to leave the site for good.

Bottoms up AAA ;-D

I've called WON before to ask about the results of a Pro-Am I fished since there had been nothing on their website for over 2 weeks. Their response was that they are in the business of selling their "newspaper" & the results would probably be in the next issue. They had no desire to release it anytime sooner.

So, it's not surprising you haven't seen the results or photos. You will have to buy their "newspaper" in another week or two.

Post by TEAMDEADMONEY »

Robert , I have no problem with your answer. If you dont know then you dont know. You could have just told me what you just did and it would have been fine. But instead you acted like you could have cared less about my question..."Thats Not my department"..??..I figured that since you took the photos and also made the intitial results post, that you would know the answer to my question. And after I told you what I assumed, you said what you had to say and ended it with "Geeezzzzz" like I was bugging you for asking a simple question.
I didnt mean to put your life in a downward spiral ...relax....its Okay. The results will be posted at some point..no biggie. We will live. I never even expected the results to be posted here on this forum. I know Bill doesnt post here...thats okay. I just figured since you were playing "camera man" at the tournament youd have an answer to the pic question at least. I thought wrong...My bad. Sheeeesh!!

FrankRizzo...."Pete likes to stir things up with everyone" "He has nothing better to do" ..?? ahhhhh....first of all, I dont "stir things up with anyone. I may have a difference of opinion with guys sometimes but I never try to "stir the pot". I do keep it real though. Do I know you? NOPE...dont think so... so dont tell someone that I have "Nothing better to do" if you dont even know me. Wait a minute....FrankRizzo...FrankRizzo....oh yeah..you are the comedian that made jokes about the guy that committed suicide at DVL a couple weeks ago.. Now I remember...and I called you out for it and told you to have some class. Now I get it.....I "stirred the Pot" I guess by calling you out....I stand corrected...I guess Im a Pot stirrer. If me stickin up for a guy that took his own life and his greiving family means Im "stirring the pot" then I guess Im good with that. You arent worth the time that I just spent writing that.

that WON is getting ready to come out with their own website[not the current wonbass site] that will be updated daily, so maybe they are saving the pictures and stories for the new site. My guess is also that they will sell advertising on that site just like Tony does here as newspaper ad's are getting less and less with more people getting their info on the internet. Rick G.

Post by Schneider Fishing »

Pete,
Wow! an email, a pm and a response on the web.

If you didn't have a problem with my answer then why did you choose to respond on the web (not really a question - no need to answer). You could have either emailed, pm'd, or called me instead of taking things to a public forum. Or better yet, you could have called Bill like I wrote.

Some of the reasons I was short with you is because way to often open web forum responses with you turn into this stuff. Further more, I would have thought that my response would have been enugh for you to pick up the phone and call Bill like I said.

So, next time why don't you just ask Bill if you can have a picture of Barry's Big Fish for the Team Dead Money website you're building, or take the picture yourself or maybe even email or pm me instead of starting all this stuff on an open web forum.

With respect to Barry and my response to his pm and email, that should have stayed between him and I.

Hopefully my work here is done.

Have a nice day.

Look at all the pub. we've give Bill's region

And as long as you guys are still reading this carp >--)))>

Post by TEAMDEADMONEY »

Im done as well. Way over blown...as usuall. But thats what I get for dealing with the biggest drama queen on western bass. I sent you a pm,and an email just to tell you that I didnt mean anything bad by asking the question. This would have never gotten to this point though if you would have answered my question the way you explained it to Barry. But instead you thought it would be better to blow off my question with an unprofessional response because you dont like me.. If you are representing WON the way you say you are "WON Staff", then how about being professional about it. Do you think Josh, Rapheal or Dan would have reponded like that...NOPE! You are something else Robert. Its all good though....
Yep the IE region got some pub here...not quite sure how "positive" it was though. But pub is pub I suppose.

For the record though...that picture being posted didnt have nearly as much to do with me putting it on any website as much as it did just giving Barry credit for a job well done. Hes new to the sport AND hes one of my best friends so I was really happy for him. The guy spends tremendous amount of money on tackle, practices his butt off and fishes his butt off during the day and it finally paid off a little for him. Dont be such a player hater Robert. Barrys Big Fish was an accomplishment to be proud of and to see a pic of. Keep trying robert it may happen for you too...someday. As for me posting the pic on my website someday.....heck yes I'll do that. Its a good thing , who wouldnt..

Kirk....you hit the nail on the head....DING!!! Winner winner chicken dinner!! You are so right.

I'm done with this topic...
