A big congrats to my partner Brian Whitney for sticking our big fish. Without it we would not even had a bronze medal, so that fish was crucial. We fished the same hump for 3 days and finally it worked out because we moved alot deeper (25-50 ft.). A big congrats to my good friend Charles Gailey that finished with the silver medal, if we were gonna lose, I can't think of a better person to get beat by, you're a class act Charley!! As for everyone else, I cannot believe the comaradrie between every person there. From the check-in meeting until the final weigh-in I felt like we had all known each other forever. We all share a bond of putting others before ourselves and it really showed by the amount of class and professionalism exhibited out there for those 3 days. I can't wait for San Diego and San Vicente next year. Brian & I will be there to defend our title as well as see all of the fine people we met this year. thanks again and take care.

Great job Scott and Brian....Way to fish in tough conditions! Also congrats to Jim Novotny with your win in the individual event. Hope to see you in some of the FBT events too bud!

Also wanted to say thanks to Phil Lopez, Phil Hart and Mike Johnson for volunteering your time and hard work - You guys stepped up to the plate and made this event a class act - My partner and I had a great time!

Lastly, thanks to Kent Brown and Gary Dobyns for your advice and to Vince Harris for adding the entertainment at the weigh-ins!

Can't wait for the next one!
