FLW Fantasy league players

Post by Ray L. »

I hope you all did new teams for the fantasy league.
I did.
Right now after day 1 my new team is doing much better than the guys I picked for Toho.
I actually ave picked the day 1 leader. I even have 6 guys in the top 50.
Only 1 is below 100th. place.
Maybe I can win a $10.00 gas card Like Keith did.

Some of my guys need to step it up a bit... my best two are in 10th and 11th, but a couple of them are far lower than I expected so far. Got some ground to make up if I'm going to get a gas card! C'mon team!

The FLW league is FAR FAR FAR more about the bonus points than how your team fishes. A person with 2 people in the top 10 and 8 people in the bottom 10 will beat a player with 8 people in the top 10 and 2 others in the top 20 IF the person with 2 hits right on the button (picked 7th finished 7th) and the person with 8 in the top 10 has none of his in the exact spot they finish.

As a side note.. I sure the hell would be rather fishing Falcon this week than Lewis Smith. bottom 10 weight at Falcon would be leading at Lewis Smith. I know tournaments are about dealing with the conditions etc but every now and then it is just fun to flat whack em.

No kidding.
Un real that Falcon.
I have been told about that place for a ong time. Guys all say it is better than Amastad.
You are right though. You do need to hit a couple right on the finish and then you really get the points.
The 1 thing though is if you hit the leader in your top 10 picks that helps big time.
I hit the leader for day 1.
I also have 1 other in the top 10 and 1 just a hair out of it.
The best thing is I have 6 in the top 50 though. I also have 1 or 2 who I know will make it to the top 50. The other 2 are bombing big time. Shin and Tom Mann jr. are just blowing it big time.
I thought Tom Jr. would kick but on those spots.

All I can say is thank god this is a spotted bass lake, Lots of big moves today. The top guy I have is 17th. I really have to get away from the popular vote picks.....

Still have not received that gas card. Not that I could use it anyways. Are there any BP's out here in the west? I haven't checked my team yet today.

Wow am I happy
I just looked and I have 2 in the top 10.
2 that just missed the top 10 and 2 in the top 50.
Best event for me so far.
I may even hit 2 on the money.
Greg Pugh I picked to win and he is in third
Michael Bennett I picked for 8th. and he is in 6th.
If I can hit 2 right on the money I will be happy.
I may even get 1 of those mystry gas cards Like you Keith.
I will see you Sunday at Castaic Keith.

3 out of 4 of my friends have 4 in the top ten. This one seems easy for our league.

Yeah, I guess I should have placed him higher in my lineup! Standings for this tournament: 9948; overall standings: 6498!

Better luck next outing!
