The trip has been a blast so far except for the fact that it took 24 hours to get here...2 extra hours cuz Ray blew up a trailer bearing in the middle of Arizona. Luckily we were close to a town with 3 auto parts stores and between them all we found enough parts to put it back together and get on our way. If Derrick was not here we would still be staring at Ray AND the smoking axle!!
We are done prefishing and looking forward to our next trip to Casitas!! At least there we know the fish will bite! Overall the bite has been slow and I'm sure tougher than we all expected..but there are fish being caught and we will see what unfolds tomorrow. At the very least we are looking forward to event day and the ability to stick the bites we get.
The nightlife here has been covered by Kyle and Ray L.(for here on out will be referred to as V.I.P.) since he was able to acheive that status after greasing the bouncer to Billy Bob's with a visor...probably a Marlboro visor but we are not sure
Power fishing sucks....shallow water fishing sucks....bring on the deep clear water of the west!! I cant take this anymore!!
