Delta Shiner or Baby Bass Lunker Punker Jr.?

I was all set on spending the cash for a custom Lunker Punker Jr in Baby Bass. The introduction of the new Delta Shiner color has me reconsidering. Based just on color, not the fact that the Baby Bass Lunker Punker Jr is a custom, and according to accounts here, more durable, which color would you choose, Delta Shiner or Baby Bass? Is the Baby Bass color worth the extra $30?

Whats your confidence level tell'in you. Both colors are excellent in attracting bass and inticeing them too hit.

Both will work on the lakes has well.

I just got my Baby Bass Jr. and the clear coat does seem more durable than the production Shiner. It seems like a thicker coat which also gives the paint more depth. If you're looking for custom colors Mel Cotton's has a few left from the show last weekend, but only in the full size punker, they've got baby bass, perch, green trout and blue trout. The blue trout is probly the sickest trout pattern I've ever seen, if I didnt already have the production pattern I'd get it for sure.

. If the store you are buying from has baby bass in stock I would buy it, other wise get the delta shiner. They are both great.

where you guys getting them from? got some from the sac ise but they ran out of the bass punker before i got there. a lil help would be appreciated.

I say get the custom Baby Bass. Why not? It is a custom color that is relatively hard to find, whereas you can always buy the Delta Shiner color later as it is more readily available.

If you are in the San Leandro area, I saw a 9" Bass colored Punker in Walton's Pond right before closing. There are a bunch of other customs there to choose from as well.

The Hook, Line and Sinker in both store's has them (Costom)....At the Hook #2 Store at Russo's has 6 in stock. Call them on size and either Shawn, Aldwim(sp) or the new lady (Whoever is workin) can tell you over the phone.

They can either hold it or ship it.
