location help
Im lookin to go out on Sunday. I usually head to melones or mcclure but i am contemplating headed to the delta. I hear mcclure is still hit or miss and last weekend on melones I found fish on beds but nothing bigger than 2 pounds. How has the delta been? If I go I usually launch from russos. Have the fish moved up onto beds yet and has the water cleared enough to see them? Also a friend has told me I need to check out mildred island and sherman lake to find lots of bass. Is this a good idea? I have never been to either one. Please let me know what ya think.

You know, we always called each other goodfellas. Like, you'd say to somebody: "You're gonna like this guy; he's all right. He's a goodfella. He's one of us." You understand? We were goodfellas, wiseguys.

Re: location help
The wind (25-35) mon/tue dirtied up Franks again....... but there are still plenty of other areas with clearer water and plenty of fish on beds (I don't sight fish much)..... runnin to Sherman in heavy wind can be brutal.... lots of fish (as always) and clearer water round Mildred area..
Even with all the wind and cold fronts,, the river is still wide open..... had lots of big bites on mon..... tue there were more bites but no giants (for me anyhow),,, still lots of 3- 4 1/2 lbrs everywhere we went
