Since I know none of you would steer me in the wrong direction does anyone know of an experienced transmission shop that deals with Dodge diesels in the Santa Clarita/ Antelope Valley’s? I’m pretty sure that my torque converter is starting to slip and I don’t want to get stuck out in the middle of the desert. I’ve been told by other people that it’s possible that the problem isn’t with my transmission and that I should take the truck into the dealership and have it scanned. The only problem with that is I don’t trust any dealerships due to past issues. They lied and cut some corners in the past and I swore I’d never go back. So with that being said any suggestions?
1998 Ram 2500 turbo Cummins diesel
The trans is either a 46RE or a 47RE I’m not sure.
