Yeah, rub me a bit wrong....but I also understand what he (Ricky) is saying. Balance is the key and sometime we get a bit off balance. I don't think he was trying to be a A-hole or anything, he was stating his ideas as well as I was stating mine.
Its all good in the hood.

In the end....let just go fishing

Ricky-S you said-Funny thing is that every one of the men that mentioned bad experiences with a woman during marriage blamed the women. What I said in my post was, My wife has always been very supported of my fishing and lure making. But, to much can be to much. Wives need the companionship and father figure for the kids around the house. I have let my wife do to much over the years by her self and that was WRONG.
That sounds like I took the blame. I have been talking with my wife until late hours of the night for three weeks and have figured that out. I never said that it was her fault. I just said that marriage can be hell. Things are better for us and where going to make it work because we have a good relationship and bond. I just wanted to clear that up.

More like the Dr. Phil show

(Dr. Phil) Why do you bass fish so much?!! Do you have an addictive personality? This might be a problem

(basser) I pay the bills, spend time w/ the kids and wife, and give the tournament winnings to my wife. Plus it keeps me sane and i am a better husband because of it. So you can kiss my ***

(Dr. Phil) walks over to basser and gets in his face and a riot errupts ala "Geraldo Rivera Skinhead Show" Chairs are flying, swimbaits are flying, handfuls of mojo weights are tossed at Dr. Phil pelting his dome, total chaos

My wife is my #1 supporter too. I have a newborn (only 2 months old...) and I was just gone for 7 days in Lousiana fishing in the Bassmaster Central Open.

No issues at all.

Pick the right one and be honest about your intentions and pland and you'll be fine...(thats my 2 cents).

Been there, done that, thought that,

Got divorced anyway.

Just a little friendly bit of personal experience. ( not saying this is your case)

Some people can't (or won't) voice objections to the situation. They don't want to rock the boat or they really want to be supportive. Unfortunately that often leads to resentment and an eventual blowup somewhere down the road because they wont address it and work it out until its past fixing.

Crap.
Startng to sound like Dr. "I'll analyze you for spare change" Phil.
May have to check myself in for an exorcism.

Don't rip us off from being grandparents who get to see you kids having problems too with the likes of little ones like you

All in fun.

Love my wife! Also love being married to her. 2nd time for me and going on 2nd year for us this month. Been together for 7 years total.

The right wife will make you a better fisherman.

The wrong wife will make you hate her and think wives are bad!
