My obsession includes boats. Isn't everyone from Dixon cousins?

if you're doing it to overcome a childhood trauma, then seek professional help, otherwise don't worry about it. Wife and G/F can spend time fishing the back of the boat.

Ive been spending about 100.00 a week at TW. I got it bad! Not to mention the custom black dog baits.
Ill have to slow down. Gas in the Hemi is about 100.00 to fill up. So thats 400.00 a month! Something has to give and I GUESS I have enough tackle for now,lol

Biteme,
Sell the truck and buy more tackle with the money. You can never have enough tackle. Tackle is like jello. There is ALWAYS room for more

Well you can be like me, I was the same way at one time. When we divorced, she got everything, at that time my half of a Body and fender Business . To where I had to file BR, try getting credit for 7 yrs, If you are married you might want to might rethink your obsession. I know the laws have changed, but not that much. Just my $.02.

The wife is pretty supportive. I guess she knows I could be out at the bar with the boys or something.
I made a choice to slow down on buying stuff. Its really hurting my fishing. I find things that work really well then go and try something else. With that said, I just checked the daily special on TW. Shiet there goes 90.00! HAHAHAHAHA

Dude I cant even say the F word in the house anymore (fishing). If I am not on the water I am pitching a jig on the lawn, waiting for lead to melt to poor more jigs and shakey heads, and waxing the boat. All while pushing my 2 boys on the swing.

I don't have a tackle obsession.

I have a tackle addiction which I am trying to overcome by attending weekly meetings on-line and in person. The weekly on-line meetings are held at tacklewarehouse.com and the in person meetings are typically held at Outdoor Pro Shop in Rohnert Park. I also follow-up each meeting with a trip to the pond each weekend to try out some of new techniques and tools I learn each week.

So far I am VERY happy with my struggle to control this addiction.

Sounds to me like most of you are in the same boat. The first step is admitting your problem.............
