Nope. But I was'nt there anyway. Great job by TDM for sure. Congrats to all the top finishers. Also great job Cory Schleiden/Larry Rogers on your AOY title. Rick G.

Pete and Carissa

Post by Lynne »

Congrats on a great day on the lake. So happy that "baby girl" is going to have the best 1st birthday any girl could want!

Today Pete and Carissa were able to bring in not only the biggest bass of the tournament weighing 7.02# but the biggest sack weighing 24.30# earning themselves $4,170 from NBW Allstar Series and an additional $1,000 from the SKEETER REEL MONEY program. Before the tournament season began, Pete knew that he must get registered for the SKEETER REEL MONEY program so that when he and Carissa won a tournament in their SKEETER boat that they would get an additional $1,000. Pete and Carissa did just that and today it paid off for them.

Will Rakowitz and Mitch Southern came in a very close second bringing in 24.20# just .10# less than Pete and Carissa. They won $1,890.

Third place went to John Krumsiek and Mike Collins with 24.04# and the third biggest bass of the tournament weighing 6.23# cashing in for $1,295 in winnings.

I have posted the full results of the tournament on our website www.nationalbasswest.com.

Thanks to all that fished our events this weekend in San Diego and at Diamond Valley. We are looking forward to our Diamond Valley Night tournaments starting June 21, 2008.

We are also running the Valley-Wide Recreation Night Tournament "First to Fish event" on Saturday, June 14, 2008.

By the way...a huge congrats to Mike Long and Todd Holverson for winning the San Diego Region tournament at Lake Hodges with over 19#. Both of these guys are great fishermen and great people.

good night

Grasshopper Pete
You think you are going to win the boat.
Well my friend that is going through me first.
You can have the N.B.W. boat.
I will take the w.o.n. boat for myself and my partner.

Ive been holding my own at Havasu

Post by TEAMDEADMONEY »

I cashed checks at the last 3 WON team championships there(2005,2006,2007), including 2 top tens. So Ive been pretty happy with my results at the Championships there considering the talent that is at the WON Championship every year.

Team Marino/Team Dead Money will be locked and loaded for Havasu at the National Bass fishoff AND the WON Championship.

Post by some guy »

Now I get my chance to fish it my way...I have have only fished one derby there with unc and we didnt cash a check but came damn close...I get to finally set the drop shot down and go to work. Chris has won quite a few derbies out there and fished a few circuits out there so we should be looking real sharp.. That lake fishes totally in my favor.. i love that place to death.. I have been fishing that lake since i was a little guy.. i know your good out there.. Im just giving you guys a heads up.. you havent seen me or c bone out there.. we are going to turn some heads for certain... and we plan on taking 2 weeks off of work before the derby and go to work... plus now that DVL is done you wont be seeing me at too many night derbies.. ill be on the river... 8) your going to have your work cut out for you petey boy.

One thing is certain.......

Post by TEAMDEADMONEY »

The end of the year Havasu events are some of the funnest around.

John I'm sure you will do fine, especially with all that prefish.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying Im gonna win either of the two events Im fishing (That would be assinine) but I WILL be giving it hell and gunning for it. Those Havasu boys are TOUGH on their home lake but its always fun to go and try to shake up the standing a bit and add some 909 and 951 flavor to the mix.
I always root for guys from our region to make a good showing..

I cant wait....
