It's a mixed-mode Pete... wives are definitely welcome! Bring Carissa for sure - she'll have a blast also.

I'll be taking the money at sign-ups, which start at 5:00.

Too bad you can't make it... this one should be worth it!

We'll see how this goes, and maybe try to make it an annual Nutcase event with better planning next time.

The thermometer on the shed is a little trinket I just got from eBay - RANGER ROCKS! :D

We can talk this weekend... I've got the gas and electric in the far corner of the yard, on an elevated section. I don't want a BBQ too close to the house, so I don't smoke out the house. This is just for entertaining, so we have better seating for our guests.

Hehehe... wrong party doggie!

Well, it is certainly well-engineered... it isn't going anywhere once I get it finally finished. Haven't worked with steel studs since my sparky days over 20 years ago, and even then it was just little tasks a commercial electrician runs up against. This is WORK! Don't seem to move as quickly as I once did, so it is taking much longer than I estimated... I'm really under the gun now! Oh well - love pressure!

Thanks Jim - appreciate it. I'm currently in the process of installing plywood siding now, though, so I'm good. Actually, ended up with one section of track and two extra studs, so I did pretty good for the first attempt at metal framing!

IT IS PARTY TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't quite make my goal of tiling the island, but it's covered so it will function. I'm wiped out, but got most of my project done, the backyard spic and span, the pool is ready (got to test it out today), and Mona did the shopping today.

I've got some things to do tomorrow, so I've still got a busy day ahead of me, but we'll be in good shape by check-in.

Thanks to Gary (GT5bass) and John (Nunyo) for offering up some additional goodies for the drawings, so there will be lots of cool stuff to win.

See those of you who are coming tomorrow!
