Hey Larry,

Fishing was awesome each day out there! I had 20 fish with my best 5 going about 13Lbs on Friday and 25 fish on Saturday with my best 5 going an easy 15Lbs and both days was off the water by 10Am. Saturday I got onto a bite that really produced some of my better fish for me with several in the 3 1/2Lb range and I just wish I did it sooner. I worked a 40 yard stretch over and over each day and caught all my fish from it. Topwaters and reaction baits first thing until the bite shuts off, then I would throw a d-shot for awhile. I barely threw it at all though. Friday, I caught a limit on the d-shot before heading back to camp and Saturday I caught 2 before calling it quites. There are worm fish to be caught but I didn't drive all that way to do that. If you want full details shot me an e-mail or give me a call and I will fill you in.

Great Jeff! Lets head up a group for October! Glad you made the tournament Sunday, fishing sucked, comraderie was GREAT!

Yea Piru sucks! They can call Cachuma and Piru the New "Dead Seas!"

911bass, yea the camp grounds were crowded but the weather was cool and over cast. made for an awesome morning bite. If you are planning on going better make reservations ahead of time.

I might be up for a turkey shoot. Question in my mind, living near LAX, is which day, what hours, and can we do an overnighter? A four hour drive each way is brutal, especially going through Santa Barbara.
