Help with windshield
Help with windshield
So about three weeks ago I was out for the day. I tripped over my dog and fell on the driver’s side windshield. Of course it broke. I called the dealer they told me I would have to bring in the old one. They would then send it off to a company to have a custom mold done. The price was not a big deal, but they said it was a two-week turn around. Does anybody know of a company that makes a replacement that they would have in stock? If I have to send it off does anybody know a company I could send it out to and cut out the middleman? It is for a 1997 Champion 18’. Thanks guys I know somebody will point me in the right direction.

There is a little sticker on my Champion windshield.

I bet they made yours, and many other bassboat windshields of different manufacturers.

Re: Help with windshield
these guys do custom as well as sell stock windshields:

I had a broken one on my skeeter and bought a new one from Tinysfiberglass.com it was just over 100.00 including shipping, only when it arrived it was black (not see through) my originals are dark smoke, I ended up having to buy the passenger side so it would match. The holes lined up pretty good, but not perfect which is to be expected.
good luck

Re: Help with windshield
Custom Mold and Tint is the way to go. I broke my partners passenger windshield. (Damn low clear lake docks and 3/4 oz spinnerbaits
). He has a Hawk so I knew it was going to be a challenge to find one. I contacted CM&T. Since he didn't make the original I had to send him the driver side windshield and he made two new matching ones. (really tough to match a contoured windshield and I didn't want to be able to see the difference on my buddys boat) They work like a charm. If he made the original you probably won't have to send anything to him. I can't remember exactly but it was about $250 for both delivered to my doorstep.
Great people as well!!

Re: Help with windshield
Like A.G., I replaced the windshield on my Skeeter at Custom Mold and Tint in Monticello Arkansas.
Had to send the broken shield to them for a custom fit. When the new windshield arrived, it fit perfectly.
Good job at a reasonable price.
