Tuesday Night Tourneys are back at Oroville

Post by brentdeaner »

$10 gets you entry into our weekly longest fish tourney. We meet at the spillway launch ramp. Launch is at 5:00 and we fish until 8:00 or 8:30 depending on time of year.

All money is paid back......Winner take all if less than 20 anglers, 70-30 split if more than 20. More than 50 people means 60-30-10. Longest fish wins and ties are broke by a balance beam, heaviest fish wins. One fish per angler please. Fish must be alive.

Hope to see you there while we still have water on the ramp....we are hearing that by mid august there will be no more launch ramps in the water. :(

Tight lines,

Brent

Brent, I noticed you said 1 fish per angler, does that mean that if there are two people on the boat that they can bring in two fish even if they were caught by the same angler, or does each angler have to catch his own fish to be measured???
The only sport besides golf that you can only blame yourself !!!

There really is no way for me to enforce this JB...but we ask anglers to police themselves. This is just a fun event.

It took a 19 incher to win tonight's event~ a nice 4 pound LM. There were two 18 7/8 inch spotties that tied for second. Balance beam broke the tie. We had 37 guys tonight.

Congrats to Jeff and Don R. for the nice fish. See you next week guys!

Good Job last night and a great turn out these events are super fun and inexpensive. My partner Jeff won it last night with that largemouth its his first "tournament" win he was a kid in a candy store I thought he was going to faint when I netted the thing :D . See ya out there next week.
