best all purpose powell casting rod????

what powell rod would be a good all around bass rod iam new to these rods just thought i would ask for some info thanks len

Question? Where do you fish most of the time?

You won't a 3 Power for dropshot'in, dartheads small stuff
4 Power for small jigs, spinnerbaits Etc
5 Power for 3/8 1/2 oz jigs or small swimbaits

For length you have your choice of 6'8" 7' or 7'3"

Powell makes rods that cover all the spectrum of bass fish'in. It just a matter of what type of application you mostly fish with.

I think the best "All Purpose" or generic bass rod is a 7'0 Medium Heavy Rod.

i was looking for a 6ft8 or 7ft mh for spinnerbaits and buzzbaits and some texas rigs thanks for the info len

I use:

- 703CEF for most reaction baits, blades, senkos, and small finesse jigs.

- 734CF for general jig fishing, heavy blades, medium duty pitching/flipping, small swimbaits, and frogs.

- 701LEF (spinning) for all finesse stuff...dropshotting, dartheads, etc.
